The Contacts sections is where you manage all your contacts. It is automatically populated from users who register for your auctions, but you can add contacts manually as well.

Adding Contacts

Click the add contacts button shows the dropdown menu to begin adding. Single Contact allows you to add a contact with full details, including first and last names, email, company name, phone, and any tags. Multiple Contacts allows you to add contacts by email, using commas to separate each email. Great if you have a list of emails you'd like to add. You can customize the contact details later. Import Contacts is the best option if you want to add your customers and have all their information. It functions like bulk uploading items, where you use a CSV or XLSX file to add them. Download our templates to help manage the process. You can also filter contacts by whether they have created an account, been invited, no account, or locked.

Contacts under your Contacts Section automatically populate from buyers who have registered for your auctions. Additionally, you can add contacts manually one by one, from a list of emails, or you can import them from a spreadsheet.

Steps to Bid

Create Account: required before they're able to register or place bids.
Browse: Buyers can browse individual listings, auctions, or sellers.
Wishlisting and Following Sellers: individual items can be wishlisted for buyers to keep track of, and sellers can be followed to stay up to date on new auctions.
Register for Auction: once an item is found, buyers must register for the auction it's contained in (and receive approval if it's required by the seller).
Bid: buyers are now able to place bids on items within auctions they've registered for. Additionally, our platform enables proxy bidding, where buyers are able to place bids higher than required. If they are outbid, additional bids will automatically be placed for them until they reach the amount they set their bid at.

How to Set Item Quantity

When adding a single listing, you can find the quantity option under more details. Set the quantity to the number of items included in this listing.

Customers will easily be able to see at a glance how many items are included with this listing. If you add a listing that includes hundreds of items with the quantity left at 1, buyers might become confused by the high price or might even miss your item while browsing.

Very important to have displayed when a single listing contains multiple items (pallets, lots, collections, etc.)

Here we cover how pickup and shipping are managed on our platform.

Default Fulfillment Settings

Our platform is setup to handle Pickup and Shipping. Depending on how your business operates, you can customize your default method of fulfillment in your Fulfillment Settings. Pickup Only is useful if you only deal locally and never ships products. Shipping Only is useful if you only ship or don't have a storefront or receiving area. Pickup and Shipping is great if you do both. You can still set items to be pickup or shipping only. Adjusting these settings in your global settings will ensure all auctions made are aligned with the fulfillment method of your business.

Handling Pickup and Shipping Post Auction

Once your auctions are closed and payments are made, users will start to populate in the Shipping Section of our platform. Within this section, you can switch between shipping and pickup with the top right blue button.

From this area, you can view all your incoming shipping requests. As you progress through the shipping stages, you can change the current status of a specific customer by clicking the dots on the right of the column. You can select between Shipment Requested, Shipped, and Delivered.

Administrator Features

Administrators can now select past auctions for highlighting, with the option to clear the currently featured auction if needed. This is done through a new API created to save and manage featured auctions for the Buyer portal homepage.
Administrators can now showcase selected auctions prominently to potential buyers. This is done through a new API to retrieve featured auctions for display on the Buyer portal homepage.
A new API has been developed to retrieve all public closed auctions. This functionality will be utilized in both the super admin and buyer portal interfaces, enhancing the ability to review past auction data.
We've improved connection security and management. The system now uses TLS secure handshaking on the MQTT protocol port 8833, ensuring only secure connections are accepted.
Automated daily reports are now posted to our Slack, providing key platform data for our team. The first phase includes a New Auction Alert, which notifies our team when a new auction is created, including details such as seller name, number of listings, and auction closing information.
