What is Instant Buy?
Instant buy is Vendidit's version of e-commerce. It functions like an auction, but there's no bidding, only buying. An auction with Instant Buy enabled is known as a Collection. They can have a closing time or can be made to be permanent.
How do Instant Buy Auctions Work?
When a customer browses your instant buy listings, they will be able to purchase your items immediately if desired, or make an offer if the "offer less" feature is enabled within auction settings.
Currently, customers will have to fulfill instant buy orders individually.
How to Enable Instant Buy
When creating an auction, under bidding type, select "Instant Buy"

Bulk Upload
While Instant Buy is enabled, bulk uploading will handle the same way as before with a few subtle changes:
- The "minimum_bid" column will be ignored
- instant_buy price will be used for item price amount
Instant Buy Auction Strategies
Always Have Something Available
You can run a permanent auction on the side while you run your standard bidding auctions. There are several potential benefits to this:
- Ensures there is always something listed between auction downtimes.
- New customers that discover your auctions will look through your Instant Buy auction.
- If a customer loses an item in an auction, yet you have the same item available on your Instant Buy auction, the customer can still buy it on there.
Grouping by Merchandise Category
If you sell several categories of items, you could create permanent auctions for each of those categories, and list items to each of those auctions.
