Marketplace Tutorials – Buyer Dashboard

This document serves as the tutorial to understand how Buyers of Vendidit can utilize their dashboard to track bidding activity, monitor orders, and understand spend and seller interactions across the marketplace.

Global Filters

At the top of the Buyer Dashboard, you can apply two global filters. When applied, these filters impact every data point you see across the dashboard sections and tabs.

·      Sellers: Select one or multiple sellers to narrow all insights to those sellers only. Default is All Sellers.

·      Time Period: Select a preset time period to filter dashboard data by time.

·      Clear All: Clears seller selections and resets the dashboard back to default view.

Buyer Performance & Insights

This section provides quick, clickable insights to help you understand how you are performing as a buyer and where your attention is needed.

·      Orders Pending: Total number of orders that are not completed. Click to jump to Orders Requiring Attention.

·      Active Bids: Number of live listings where you currently have bids. Click to jump to Active Bids section.

·      Avg Listing Price: Average listing price amount across all orders generated for you. Click to open the My Listings tab to see details about all listings you interacted with.

·      Avg Bids to Win: Total number of bids divided by number of winning bids. Click to open the Bids & Offers tab to dive deeper into all bids, offers, and buy now actions.

·      Reg : Bid : Win: This card displays the activation funnel of the buyer - Auction registrations: listings you bid on: listings you won. Click to open the Auctions tab.

·      Highest Order: Highest order value. Click to open the Orders tab.

Each tile includes a small tooltip that explains the calculation. Clicking a tile either jumps you to a relevant section on the page or opens the most relevant analytics tab.

Active Bids

The Active Bids section focuses on live listings where you have ongoing bidding activity.

·      Shows only live listings where you currently have bids placed, and the listing is still active.

·      Click a listing to open Listing Details and continue bidding.

·      Includes necessary information – Listing Name, Seller Name, Bid Status, You Last Bid, Current Top Bid, and Countdown to Listing closing

Orders Requiring Attention

This section separates orders into two clusters so you can immediately understand whether the next step is on you or on the seller.

Cluster 1: My Action Required

These are orders where you have an outstanding action to move the order forward. The Action column will show the relevant CTA.

·      Payment Pending: Depending on seller’s payment method configuration, Buyers can act on unpaid orders by immediately paying via Stripe or by contacting seller and paying off-platform.

·      Pickup Plan Pending: Buyers can schedule the Pickup after reading pickup instructions from sellers.

·      Pickup Pending: Acts as an alarm to pick up items on their scheduled appointments. Can contact the seller to change the schedule.

·      Shipping Address Confirmation: Buyers need to confirm their address before seller ships item/s.

Cluster 2: Awaiting Seller

These are orders where the seller needs to take the next step. The Action column will help you contact them if needed.

·      Invoice Pending: For off-platform payment, sellers need to upload their invoice as the 1st step of the order

·      Shipping Pending: Sellers need to mark items as shipped once they leave with the carriers.

·      Delivery Pending: Sellers need to mark items as delivered after buyers confirm.

Analytics Section

The Analytics section is a tabbed area that lets you drill into your marketplace activity and take action. The same global filters (Sellers and Time Period) apply here too.

My Listings Tab

The My Listings tab shows every listing you interacted with, grouped into listing statuses and your interactions with them.

Statuses of Active/Live Listings

·      **Reserve not met: **(Open bid auctions only) You have bids but the reserve is not met yet.

·      **Winning: **(Open bid auctions only) You are currently the highest bidder.

·      **Outbid: **(Open bid auctions only) You have been outbid.

·      Offer made: (Blind auctions only) You submitted an offer.

·      Active (No Bid): The listing is live and you interacted with it (viewed or wishlisted) but you did not place a bid.

Statuses of Past Listings

·      Won: You won the listing through an auction flow.

·      Lost: You participated in bidding but did not win.

·      Past (No Bid): You had interacted with the listing (viewed or wishlisted) but did not place a bid. And now, the listing has ended.

·      **Purchased: **Buy Now) You purchased via Buy Now.

·      **Pending: **(Blind auctions only) Auction closed and the listing is pending seller selection among offers, one of which is yours.

·      Removed: You placed a bid on the listing, but it was removed from the auction.

Click a listing row to open Listing Details. Use the search, filters, and sorting controls to narrow results quickly.

Bids & Offers Tab

This tab shows your bidding history and splits activity by bid types.

Types:

·      Open Bid: Used for Open auctions.

·      Blind Offer: Used for Blind auctions only.

·      Buy Now: Used for purchases via Buy Now feature

Bid Statuses:

·      Reserve not met: Your bid did not meet reserve price as set by seller

·      Winning: You have a winning current bid

·      Outbid: Your bid was outbid by another buyer

·      Won: The winning bid of yours

·      Purchased: Not a bid. Purchased via Buy Now feature.

·      Offer made: You have submitted a blind offer

Use filters and sorting options to navigate through all the bids and offers.

Orders Tab

The Orders tab is your complete order history. It includes status breakdown, filters, and actions to keep fulfillment moving.

·      Use Order Status Breakdown to quickly filter orders by status.

·      Use the Action column to complete the next step (Make Payment, Confirm Address, Plan Pickup, or Contact Seller depending on status).

Auctions Tab

The Auctions tab shows auctions you participated in. All the auctions are grouped by Auction type, Privacy type, and buyer’s registration status in the quick access filter cards.

Click into an auction to open its details and see related listings, bids or offers, and outcomes.

Sellers Tab

The Sellers tab helps you understand which sellers you buy from most and how your activity is distributed.

·      Sort by total spend or order count to identify your most important sellers.

·      Use seller filtering to focus the entire dashboard on one seller when needed.

·      Filter Sellers by the level of interaction done with them - Auction Registrations, Bids, and Orders.
